Charlotte Suggate

Charlotte is an emerging artist based in Wellington who finds her muse in the simplicity and grace of daisies and other humble botanical treasures. Her work brings a joyful connection from the outside botanical world into the home, a slice of nature permanently captured.

Her work is full of expressive brush strokes and layers of texture. She has a particular interest in the treatment of the backgrounds of her work, with base colours often showing through, and colour blocking between stalks and blooms is always a feature of her work.
