Naomi Faifai
Naomi Faifai is a self-taught artist based in Marlborough, New Zealand.
Creating is something she's felt compelled to do since a young age, always experimenting with new processes and media, and whatever happened to be available on hand.
Naomi currently enjoys working with mixed media her favourite being inks, loving the flow and unpredictability they offer.
Influenced by her Samoan and Māori heritage, Siapo (tapa cloth), and routine everyday moments. Naomi doesn't take her work (or herself) too seriously, resulting in a playful energy.
