Naomi Faifai

Naomi Faifai is a self-taught artist based in Marlborough, New Zealand, renowned for her unique approach to mixed media art. With a lifelong passion for creation, Faifai has always been drawn to experimenting with various processes and media, utilizing whatever materials are readily available.

Specializing in mixed media, Faifai particularly favours working with inks, appreciating their fluidity and inherent unpredictability. Her artistic style is heavily influenced by her Samoan and Māori heritage, as well as the traditional Siapo (tapa cloth) art form, alongside the beauty found in routine everyday moments.
