Lizzie describes her style as intertwining the abstract and the figurative. Best known for her large abstract botanical paintings and hand built ceramics, she works in a loose, non-representational style, expanding and exploding the traditions of still life. There’s the reference to nature and ghost-like vessels and vases, while the underlying loose structure and pallet of composition remain rooted in the abstraction.
