Matt Sinclair is a self-taught painter living and working in Muriwai Beach, Auckland. Drawing inspiration from memory and folklore, his work blends narrative symbolism with expressive figuration. Layering acrylic paint and oil stick, each piece builds a tactile surface that feels both raw and intimate.
