About Stephanie Postles

Stephanie Postles is a contemporary New Zealand painter working from her studio in the foothills of the Southern Alps. Her vibrant palette and intricate patterning explore identity, place and memory, drawing on the colour and emotional resonance of interior and domestic spaces.

Postles completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College of Fine Arts in 2015 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Painting at Ilam School of Fine Arts, Christchurch, in 2025.

A finalist in the Molly Morpeth Canaday and New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Awards, she has exhibited in group and large-scale solo exhibitions throughout New Zealand. Her work is held in private collections, and she continues to exhibit nationally.
