We warmly invite you to join us for the opening of Majestical, a solo show by contemporary artist Rachel Rush.
Majestical showcases a new body of work from Rachel, inspired by the vibrant colours of spring, soft pastel hues interspersed with luxe metallics are the backdrop for this incredible new collection.
Twelve new works will be on show, from small works to statement pieces. Metallic paints feature throughout the collection, silvers, golds and coppers are expertly poured or sprayed onto the canvas with joyful colours, creating areas rich with texture that you can't help but want to touch. With each piece being hand tinted and poured the process is slow, a colour is carefully poured before curing for 24 hours before the next is applied, some artworks can take weeks to complete.
Rachel will be at the opening as well as in the gallery the following Saturday morning as part of our Meet The Artist series.
